Beverage Equipment History

Best Beverage Equipment Service (BBES) was founded in 2001 by John and Sharla Holladay as a commercial beverage equipment service and remanufacturing company.

For many years, the company served national and regional customers with beverage equipment solutions and a strong focus on commercial coffee systems, service support, national rollouts and preventative maintenance programs and operational reliability. During this period, the founders developed long-standing industry relationships, hands-on technical expertise, and deep familiarity with commercial beverage environments.

Best Beverage Equipment was sold to Aramark Refreshments in 2021. Following the sale, the founders continued operating Best Coffee Gear as a separate and independent business focused exclusively on commercial and super-automatic coffee equipment, supported nationally through a distributor network.

Originally, Best Beverage Equipment operated from a facility off Redmond Road in Jacksonville, Arkansas (near the Little Rock Airforce Base), before relocating to Rainbow Drive in Cabot. In 2009 the business moved operations to Manson Road in Sherwood, Arkansas.  

In 2014, the Holladays acquired the property at 2804 E. Coffelt Road, Jacksonville, AR 72076, where a newly renovated headquarters was opened. That facility is now leased to Aramark for continued Best Beverage operations.

Best Coffee Gear is not affiliated with Best Beverage Equipment or Aramark. It operates independently and applies the founders’ prior experience to a more specialized focus within the commercial coffee equipment industry.
